It is possible that you will not always have ocean shipments large enough to fill an entire standard-size cargo container. But the good news is that you do not have to. Our Less-than-Container Load (LCL) shipment, also known as Groupage, can handle this situation by combining your shipment with those of other parties before transporting it to its final destination.

When should you use LCL?

When your volume is less than 13m3: LCL rates are calculated based on volume and weight. When the volume of your shipment is less than 13m3, shipping via LCL is less expensive.

When the cargo is not time-critical: While low-volume shipments can be transported via air freight, LCL shipping is a much more cost-effective option.

When you need to book last-minute shipments during the peak shipping season: During periods of high demand, LCL shipping is more convenient than FCL shipping.
